1. Editorial mission and scope
GATHWAY INC. (“GATHWAY”, “we”, “us”), a Canadian corporation, operates The Insight Docket (“Platform”) at theinsightdocket.com. Contact: legal@gathway.app; privacy@gathway.app for privacy requests. Registered office: 230-7737 Lundy’s Lane, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
The Platform publishes journalism, legal commentary, research, poetry, stories, novels and other approved original work. Editorial decisions prioritize accuracy, originality, fairness, relevance, lawful expression and meaningful reader value rather than guaranteed traffic or commercial placement.
2. Accuracy and source integrity
Factual assertions should be supported by reliable, appropriately identified sources; analysis and opinion must be distinguishable from factual reporting. Quotations should be accurate and attributed. Contributors of legal analysis must verify judgments, statutes, citations, jurisdiction, date, procedural status and any subsequent treatment; no invented legal authority is acceptable.
3. Verification and editorial review
Contributor identity and claimed credentials are reviewed initially by the Super Admin, later by properly delegated reviewers where approved. Editorial approval is separate and may be exercised by the Super Admin or an audited Editor-in-Chief delegate. Review may include plagiarism screening, factual checks, legal-risk review, sources and conflict-of-interest disclosures.
4. Corrections, updates and retractions
Material errors should be corrected promptly and transparently. Significant corrections should carry a note identifying what changed and when. Where the record cannot be responsibly corrected, an item may be restricted, retracted or removed even though the general archive policy preserves published content. Retractions should remain discoverable where lawful and appropriate.
5. Fairness, privacy and defamation
Contributors must distinguish allegations from established findings, seek meaningful responses to serious allegations where appropriate, exercise special care with minors, victims and confidential sources, avoid needless disclosure of sensitive personal details and comply with applicable defamation and privacy law.
6. Conflicts, sponsorships and politics
Material conflicts of interest, financial interests and sponsored arrangements must be disclosed. Editorial decisions should not be sold, and advertisements must not masquerade as independent reporting. Opinion and commentary may present views, but misleading manipulation and fabricated evidence are prohibited.
7. AI-assisted content
AI tools may assist research, drafting or editing when humans verify outputs and hold responsibility for final work. Material AI-generated text, visuals or synthetic media require a clear label or disclosure under an approved disclosure standard. No fake citations, fabricated quotes, false depictions of real people, fictitious court decisions or misrepresented primary sources.
8. Creative works and content classifications
Fiction, poems and novels should be labelled by genre and must not misrepresent invented characters or events as verified reporting. Content notices and appropriate age controls are applied when needed; unlawful and exploitative content is prohibited.
9. Complaints and accountability
Readers and affected persons may request corrections or raise editorial concerns at editorial@gathway.app, the designated editorial contact for submissions, corrections, editorial concerns and publication-related inquiries. Copyright complaints should be sent to legal@gathway.app under the Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy, and privacy requests to privacy@gathway.app. The editorial team records material decisions, conflicts and corrections. Contributors may seek reconsideration but have no guarantee of publication.
