1. Policy and ownership
GATHWAY INC. (“GATHWAY”, “we”, “us”), a Canadian corporation, operates The Insight Docket (“Platform”) at theinsightdocket.com. Contact: legal@gathway.app; privacy@gathway.app for privacy requests. Registered office: 230-7737 Lundy’s Lane, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Original contributors retain their copyright. GATHWAY owns or licenses its platform technology, trade names, branding and original editorial materials. Published contributor works remain available under the licence in the Contributor Publishing Agreement, subject to legal exceptions.
2. Respect for third-party rights
Users must have authority to share text, images, audio, video, research and data. Quotations and excerpts require proper attribution and a lawful basis. A citation alone does not automatically authorize reproduction. Material infringing or misappropriating another party’s rights is prohibited.
3. Rights complaints
Rights holders may email legal@gathway.app with: their identification and contact details; the original protected work; URLs of allegedly infringing material; an explanation of ownership and the alleged infringement; and a good-faith statement of accuracy. GATHWAY may request evidence and may preserve relevant records. Avoid sending unnecessary identity documents by email.
4. Review, restriction and response
GATHWAY may temporarily restrict disputed content while investigating and will consider fair dealing, licensing, permissions and other lawful exceptions. Where appropriate it will notify the contributor and permit a response or counter-evidence, except where prohibited by law or urgent risk. It may restore, correct, limit or remove content based on the record.
5. Repeated infringements and misuse
Repeated or serious infringement may result in suspension, denial of submissions or account termination. Bad-faith notices and fraudulent ownership claims are prohibited. Enforcement is proportionate and documented.
6. Court orders and jurisdiction-specific procedures
Applicable statutory mechanisms, including relevant Canadian notice rules and other jurisdictions’ mandatory takedown regimes, will be handled as required by law. This internal complaint mechanism is not a substitute for statutory notices where those apply.
7. Archival exception
GATHWAY’s preference is to preserve lawfully published works after contributor account closure, but the archive policy does not override valid court orders, enforceable rights, privacy rights or applicable legal duties.
